Buy airsoft guns the easy way

First and foremost, it’s Federal Law that you have to be at least 18 to buy Airsoft guns online or from a store.  If under 18 years old and under you can purchase one with a parental consent. Talk to your parents, let them know how responsible you will be with it and how safe it is and maybe they will get your parent will purchase one for you.

If your choosing to ordering your weapon online, I recommend purchasing one from Pyramydair.com!  They have the best prices online, great service and really fast shipping.  As far as Classic Army goes, I’d recommend Airsplat.com.  Some other sites might rival the selection, but the prices on this site are a lot cheaper.

Obviously, there are many types of Airsoft rifles, so your research will  ultimately depend on the brand that you’re searching for. Different websites tend to stock different brands (so I guess the brand you want reflects the quality you want).  And of course pricing varies from site to site. All of the following sites are organized well. If y ou’re looking for Echo 1′s, electric or spring guns, the best site by far is Airsoft GI, http://www.airsoftgi.com.  They have the best Echo 1 selection and they are priced cheap as well.

If you search long enough you will find that you can purchase a cheap airsoft gun from China or from some other over seas retailer, to be very honest expect horrible customer service and for the gun conditions too be bad.  More often than not, they produce what they call clones, which are cheap replicas of the original, they feel strong and look very much like the real thing, except they are sometimes manufactured by plastic.

With that being said,  the sure fire way to buy airsoft guns or rifle is to buy them new and ones that comes with a warranty, you will notice that you will get much better quality and longer use out of your weapon.  To get the best possible price is to shop for your airsoft gun locally,  get a physical look and feel for your favorite gun and take notes of pricing, then go online and compare pricing. It may be a bit more time consuming, but being patient and resourceful can save you a lot of money and anguish in the long run.

The Various Uses Of Airsoft Guns

There are countless ways to use airsoft guns whether for training or sport, such as plinking, airsoft wars, and team combat. The activities for which you intend to use an airsoft gun should be the main influence on the type and quality of the airsoft gun that you use.

Those who just want an airsoft gun to shoot at targets can make good use of an inexpensive spring pistol. These guns are low maintenance and you don’t need anything fast or fancy or simple plinking, so you can just search Google for “airsoft spring pistol” and purchase the one you like most.

Friendly games like skirmishes and backyard wars warrant airsoft guns that have a higher firing rate than spring pistols. For something like forty dollars, you can acquire a spring shotgun that will fire the pellets as fast as you can fire them, making them the most affordable purchase for this type of use.

If you want something better than a spring shotgun, try an automatic electric gun. AEGs are built to perform similarly to real assault rifles, which make them ideal for both sniping and full out firing. These of course are more expensive, ranging anywhere from seventy to over four hundred dollars and also use many more pellets in one use than slower firing guns.

If you can’t afford an automatic electric gun, you can still get a really fast rate of fire with a low-powered electric gun, also call an LPEG. For much less money, the only real difference in performance between an AEG and an LPEG would the number of feet per second at which the fired shots travel.

Those who are on airsoft teams will tell you that it is not a cheap hobby by any means. Not only do airsoft team players require the highest quality guns in order to perform their best, they also need to invest heavily in equipment that protects them and enhances their abilities in their specified positions (the positions being riflemen, snipers, support gunners, and grenadiers). For example, sniper positions require high precision sniper rifles with a minimum FPS of 400ft and extra optics whereas a rifleman’s position requires a high quality automatic electric gun with a high capacity magazine. These two airsoft team positions are the least expensive.

A machine gun would be the ideal weapon for a support gunner; however an automatic electric gun with a box magazine addition works similarly and costs much less. The same is true for the grenadier position, though they also require a quality grenade launcher plus lots of grenades. In all circumstances, every position on an airsoft team should also have a gas pistol, which costs about seventy dollars alone.

Airsoft guns are not one of those one-size-fits-all products. Regardless of what you want an airsoft gun for, you need to be prepared in order to make a cost effective purchase.
